Model: COMPOSTO VEER · Entry Level
The smallest machine in the COMPOSTO range, designed for measured wet-waste loads up to its 10–15 Kg/day rating. It is available in a single-phase configuration, so most premises need no electrical upgrade before installation — usually the deciding factor at this size. Occupies a 30-inch square footprint, roughly the space of a large washing machine.

Technical Data
Specifications are indicative and subject to confirmation at the time of order. Transportation and any site-specific civil work are charged at actuals.
Inside the machine
Load it once in the morning. This is what the machine does while you get on with your day.
Segregated wet waste — kitchen scraps, peels, leftovers, garden trimmings — is loaded into the chamber. Staff only need to segregate; nothing else is manual.
The COMPOSTO SC shredding assembly breaks the load down to a consistent particle size, while the COMPOSTO MX paddle turns it inside the drum for even distribution.
The COMPOSTO TH thermal unit brings the chamber to working temperature and holds it there. Controlled heat is what keeps the process controlled instead of rotting.
Micro-organisms in the composting culture do the actual work. The paddle keeps turning the mass so air reaches every part of it — supporting consistent aeration and controlled processing.
Processed material discharges through the chute after the machine cycle. Output quantity varies with feedstock type and moisture content.
The output matures in curing bins for 10–15 days and becomes finished compost, ready for gardens, landscaping or bagging.
Before you load
The single most common question we get. Tap any item to see why.
Ideal input. High moisture, breaks down fast, and forms the bulk of most kitchen waste.
Rice, dal, curries, leftovers — all fine. The enclosed, heated chamber is exactly what handles cooked waste without attracting pests.
Leaves and soft green waste work well. Very woody or thick branches should be avoided.
Tea leaves, coffee grounds and paper filters are all compostable. Remove staples from tea bags.
Small bones and eggshells are fine in limited quantity. Large bones do not break down within the cycle and are better kept out.
Residual oil on food waste is normal. Pouring in cooking oil is not — it coats the material and slows the whole process down.
Does not decompose, contaminates the output, and can damage the shredding assembly. This is the main reason segregation at source matters.
Will damage the blades. Keep cutlery, foil, cans and glass strictly out of the wet waste bin.

Before you buy
Use measured wet waste, not a headcount estimate. Weigh your segregated wet-waste bins on representative operating days and compare the average and peak load with the 10–15 Kg/day rating.
Share the measured daily quantity, site type and city for a capacity check before ordering.

Questions buyers ask
COMPOSTO VEER starts at ₹75,000 excluding GST. Freight, site-specific requirements and any optional scope are confirmed in the quotation.
The published connected load is ~2.0 kW. Single-phase or 3-phase available. Final electrical provision and protection are confirmed against the supplied machine and site before commissioning.
Use properly segregated biodegradable kitchen and food waste. Plastics, metals, glass and other non-biodegradable contamination should be removed before loading. Feedstock suitability can be confirmed with DSC Engineering for unusual waste streams.
The machine is designed for controlled enclosed processing. Good source segregation, correct loading, routine housekeeping, curing practice and suitable site ventilation all contribute to odour control; actual performance depends on the incoming waste and operating practice.
Weigh segregated wet waste on representative operating days and use the measured daily load as the starting point. If normal or peak loads regularly exceed 10–15 Kg/day, compare the next capacity before ordering.
